Working Principle of Hot water RO system

Thermal Buffering

  • Incoming hot water (up to 45°C) passes through heat exchangers to stabilize at 35–40°C
  • Temperature sensors trigger cooling loops if feed exceeds membrane limits

Multi-Stage Filtration

  • Stage 1: 5 µm sediment filters remove particulates
  • Stage 2: Activated carbon absorbs chlorine/organics
  • Stage 3: High-pressure pumps (3–4 bar) push water through TFC membranes

Selective Separation

  • Membranes reject 97–99% of dissolved salts, heavy metals, and microbes
  • Concentrate stream (20–30%) gets diverted for thermal recovery

Post-Treatment

  • UV sterilization ensures microbial safety
  • Remineralization cartridges adjust pH for corrosion control.
